In the year 2025, off a beaten path in the hills of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, Martin and Ariel met and became musical collaborators within what felt like a blink of an eye. Martin's musical compositions coupled with Ariel's lyrics make up the Ziva Sky experience.
Martin Marion
Guitar & Composer
Born in Marionville Ontario Canada. Started playing and composing at the age of 15. Played in the Ottawa rock/metal scene in the 90s with multiple bands always creating new music, expanding his skills to multiple other instruments. Fronted many VT bands since 2011 and now proudly creating new sounds with Ziva Sky.
Ariel Zevon
Vocals & Lyricist
Since completing her third album of original songs, Ariel took a bit of a break from songwriting and focused on her classical roots as a flutist. When along came the great composer and musician, Martin Marion. The two began collaborating and before long had a suitcase full of songs that were begging for some great drums and bass to complete the package. It is a great thrill to sing and play with Ziva Sky!
